Showing Brett Hooper how to send back a mitre joint where one side is proud by 2 or 3mm. Getting them to look very smooth and continuous. the Bead around the top of the weatherboard wall/on the suffit, is about 70x35mm, H3.1.
Told him how to do the half round over the suffit joints, esp how to pre-nail it and use to nail points to find and nail through the suffit joint, as it is much easier to do that than to nail through the FCS (fibre cement sheet).
Found that he had nailed off the bead that was unfinished and he had bogged up the hole with no more gaps, pulled that out and made a long tiny fillet to go in the groove about 5x6mm x 1.5m. glued in with gorilla grip and 25mm galv nails.

Made up the window surrounds from 135mm wide fascia board. first routered out the rebate on each side, 6x9mm, the ripped it down the exact middle to create 2 pieces 65mm wide. these fit neatly over the alloy joinery on the outside. Wayne brought the sills, so we fitted one with 100mm by 10g sq drive galv screws, counter sunk in with 14mmspade bit. also used the multitool to plunge cut in the weatherboard to make it able to let all the sill to go flat to the building.
